Gin & Tonic (Granny Smith & Sorrel)

Happy National Gin and Tonic Day. It’s been a very long journey for G&T from being a medicial prescription to becoming today’s one of the most favorite classic cocktails. There are now endless flavor combinations with the increasing number of gin and tonic brands in the last decades. The ratio is so important for this only two-ingredient cocktail and the garnish, the sole addition to the cocktail, should be selected accordingly. I preferred to use an additional ingredient for today’s G&T; clarified Granny Smith and sorrel cordial. This may not be called a G&T but it is possible to add another layer and enjoy this classic in a different way.
