Bergamot Chamomile Martini
January is the harvest season for bergamot and that’s why it is one of my favorite times of the year for my cocktail habit. Most of you might already know how I love using bergamot in my cocktails. Since it is the season and I already made the first cordial of the year, it is inevitable to celebrate it with a bergamot martini. It is a simple but a delicious mix. If you would like to add a floral layer to your cocktail, infuse your gin with chamomile as I did for this cocktail.
Ingredients
- 45 ml Chamomile infused gin
- 15 ml Grand Marnier
- 30 ml Lemon juice
- 30 ml Bergamot cordial 1:2 sugar/water ratio
- Egg white
Instructions
- Add all ingredients into your shaker and first dry shake. Add ice and shake again until well-chilled. Double strain into a Martini glass. Express the oils of the peel over your glass and garnish with a lime twist.Cheers! 🍸
