Aronia
I haven’t heard about chokeberries till this year. Due to its high antioxidant content, it became widely known and available in Turkey, especially during the pandemic. If you like bitter taste profiles, then it can be a good cocktail ingredient for you. Berries always match with fresh mint, but I prefer to use mint syrup and foam this time. Gin and Aperol worked really well with this combination.
Ingredients
- 50 ml Malfy gin
- 20 ml Aperol
- 30 ml Lemon juice
- 20 ml Mint syrup
- 10-15 Chokeberries
- Mint foam
Instructions
- Muddle chokeberries in your shaker. Add the rest of the ingredients and shake with ice. Double strain into an ice-filled glass. Top with mint foam. Garnish with chokeberries. Cheers! 🥂
