Lezzât-ı Tezât (Contrasting Flavors)
Even many people are still hesitant to try, spicy hot cocktails widely appears in many cocktail menus nowadays. I really enjoy them, too. When we talk about spicy hot cocktails, the first one that comes to mind is the Chili Passion Margarita, which is simply a mix of tequila, passion puree and chili pepper as the main ingredients. However, there are other ingredients which pair well with hot peppers, too. One of them is obviously strawberry and there are a couple of recipes that I already shared on my profile. This time, I used cognac as the base spirit and sweet vermouth as the modifier in addition to strawberry chili puree.
Ingredients
- 50 ml Cognac VS
- 20 ml Sweet vermouth
- 40 ml Strawberry chili puree
- 20 ml Lemon juice
- 10 ml Simple syrup
Instructions
- Add all ingredients into a shaker and shake well with ice. Double strain into an ice-filled glass. Garnish with strawberries and chili pepper jam. Cheers!
