Artichoke Hold
This cocktail was created by Jeremy Oertel at Donna Bar in Brooklyn as a riff to one of his cocktails called Bitter Mai Tai. Jamaican Rum is used in the original recipe but I preferred an aged rum (Havana Club 7) since I don’t have one. The ingredients sounded weird to me at first but Cynar and St-Germain are surprisingly well together in this tiki-style cocktail.
Ingredients
- 22.5 ml Aged Rum
- 22.5 ml Cynar
- 15 ml St-Germain Elderflower Liqueur
- 22.5 ml Lime juice
- 15 ml Orgeat
Instructions
- Add all ingredients into a shaker and shake with ice. Double strain into a glass filled with crushed ice. Garnish with mint sprigs. Cheers! 🍹
