Trying to finish the satsuma cordial with different recipes, I made an experimental mule variation with cognac, melon liqueur and fernet-branca. You may ask if that would be a mule variation without ginger ale or ginger beer but the similarities in the characteristics and structure are enough for me to call it a variation. Anyway, I love Fernet-Branca and I will try to be bolder to use it in cocktails from now on. I think I say this once in a while but do not act. 🙂

Ingredients
  

  • 45 ml Abk6 Cognac VSOP⁣
  • 15 ml Midori (Melon liqueur)
  • 10 ml Fernet-Branca
  • 45 ml Homemade satsuma cordial
  • 30 ml Lemon juice
  • 2 dashes Homemade lemon bitters
  • Lemon soda

Instructions
 

  • Add all ingredients, except soda, into a shaker and shake well with ice. Double strain into an ice-filled copper mug. (@soy_turkiye) Garnish with lemon peels, dehydrated lime wheel and mint sprigs. Cheers! 🍹
