French Maid
I was a little bit skeptical about this recipe when I first saw it on @diffordsguide because of the pairing of cognac with cucumber and mint. It is considered as a riff on Gin-Gin Mule cocktail substituting gin with cognac and adding falernum and cucumber. It is a real fresh and delicious one with cognac and falernum doing its work perfectly to transform it to another dimension.
Ingredients
- 45 ml ABK6 Cognac VSOP
- 15 ml Dalernum liqueur
- 22.5 ml Lime juice
- 10 ml Simple syrup
- 30 ml Ginger beer
- 3 slices Cucumber
- 8 Mint leaves
Instructions
- Muddle cucumber in your shaker and add the rest of the ingredients (except ginger beer). Add ice and shake well. Double strain into an ice-filled tall glass. Top with ginger beer. Garnish with a slice of cucumber and mint leave.Cheers! 🥂
