Upper East Side
Manhattan cocktail is one of the earliest classics which is simply made with whiskey, sweet vermouth and bitters. This cocktail is considered to be a twist to it by replacing the vermouth with coffee and cherry liqueurs, and the angostura with orange bitters. The bittersweet flavor of the coffee liqueur, nutty flavors of the cherry liqueur and the spicy notes of the orange bitters complements each other so well while the bourbon provides a smooth and robust base for the drink. A good option those who would like to enjoy a boozy, rich and flavorful cocktail.
