Apple’n Pears
I think it’s time to accept that autumn has come and we need to start using autumn flavors in cocktails. Besides their flavor pairing, apple and pear duo has also very common use even in word patterns or idioms, especially in Turkish. So, I would like to make a simple cocktail using these two ingredients as the main flavors as the first autumn cocktail of this year. I added malic acid to the apple juice to adjust the acidity, so that there is no further need to use lemon juice, which we often use as the main acid ingredient in cocktails. Using bourbon as the base spirit and adding a little bit of vanilla syrup, here is a delicious autumn cocktail to sip.
Ingredients
- 45 ml Bourbon
- 30 ml William Pear Liqueur
- 45 ml Malic Acid Adjusted Starking Apple Juice
- 10 ml Vanilla Syrup
Instructions
- Add all ingredients into a shaker and shake well with ice. Double strain into your ice-filled highball glass. Garnish with an apple fan.Cheers! 🥃🍎🍐
