Tinto de Verano
Happy National Wine Day! If you would like to celebrate this day, simply pour yourself a glass of your favorite wine. If you want something different, I have a great recipe for you. You may already know that tinto de verano (Spanish summer wine) is simply a mix of red wine and lemon soda which can be considered as an alternative to sangria since it is easier to make. I just modified the recipe a little bit, in which I used lemon syrup and sugar free soda instead of using a sweetened one. I also added a small amount of sweet vermouth to spice the mix up a little bit.
Ingredients
- 150 ml red wine
- 30 ml Lemon Syrup
- 30 ml sweet vermouth
- Lime soda no sugar
Instructions
- Add lemon syrup into your ice-filled red wine glass. Top with red wine, vermouth and lime soda respectively. Garnish with lemon and orange wheels. Give it a stir before drinking.Cheers! 🍷🍊🍋
