Limoni
There are limitless ingredients to use when making a cocktail and especially the variety of fresh herbs is amazing. I just discovered this special type of basil which is called lemony basil with direct translation from Turkish. It is simply basil with lemon flavor and I think it is a perfect ingredient for many type of cocktails. I was thinking of making a whiskey sour using kiwifruit but I needed another ingredient and that was it. Here is a refreshing whiskey sour which is perfect for the summer.
Ingredients
- 50 ml Bourbon
- 25 ml Lime juice
- 15 ml Simple syrup
- 4-5 Lemony basil leaves
- ½ Kiwi
- Egg white
Instructions
- Muddle the kiwi in your shaker. Gently smack the basil leaves and drop them in. Add the rest of the ingredients and first dry shake. Add ice and shake again. Double strain into an ice-filled glass. Garnish with a kiwi slice and basil leaves. Cheers! 🥃
