Sometimes it all starts with one ingredient to make a cocktail. I had this fresh fennel flowers which has a mild licorice flavor, so, I decided to pair it with melon and mastiha liqueur to create a mediterranean taste. I used vodka as the base liquor since I have many flavors to balance. I also added a cayenne pepper (not muddled) just to give a hint of hot profile for the aftertaste.
Ingredients
- 45 ml Vodka
- 30 ml Mastiha liqueur
- 45 ml Melon puree no sugar added
- 30 ml Lemon juice
- 1 dried Cayenne pepper
- 1 sprig of Fennel flowers
Instructions
- Add all ingredients into your shaker and shake well with ice. Double strain into an ice-filled glass. Garnish with a melon slice and fennel flowers. Cheers! 🥂
