Passion Fruit Daiquiri
I really enjoy making Daiquiri riffs since they are easy to make and always delicious. Having freshly picked passionfruits at hand, it was inevitable to make a passionfruit Daiquiri. I used passionfruit syrup and a passionfruit pulp to boost the flavor. Adding a small amount of coconut rum turned it into a more tropical and delicious one. Just a brief info about the origin of Daiquiri: An American mining engineer, Jennings Cox, is believed to have invented the Daiquiri and named the cocktail after a district in Cuba.
Ingredients
- 60 ml White rum
- 10 ml Coconut rum
- 30 ml Lime juice
- 10 ml Passion fruit syrup
- 1 pc Passion fruit pulp
Instructions
- Add all ingredients into a shaker and shake well with ice. Double strain into a chilled glass. Garnish with a fresh passion fruit. Cheers! 🍹
