Grasshopper
Happy St.Patrick’s Day #drinkstagram! I would like to join the celebrations this year at least by making a drink for the day. Since green is the color of the day and celebrations goes along with green drinks, I would like to go with Grasshopper which I haven’t had the chance to try before. I tried to stick to the original recipe but couldn’t help myself to add a little bit of Green Chartreuse. It is better than I expected; sweet but balanced and can be enjoyed as an after dinner drink. Don’t forget to wear green today and enjoy the day! ☘️
Ingredients
- 45 ml Crème de menthe
- 45 ml White crème de cacao
- 45 ml Heavy cream
- 7.5 ml Green Chartreuse optional
Instructions
- Coat the rim of your glass with chocolate. Add all ingredients into your shaker and shake until well-chilled. Strain into chilled martini glass. Garnish with grated nutmeg and a mint sprig if your prefer. Cheers! ☘️🍸
