Sangria
For me, sangria is the most enjoyable beverage that can be consumed at any time, for any reason, while wandering the streets of Barcelona in the summertime. And of course, the best pairing of sangria is those wonderful and delicious Spanish tapas. I am finally sharing a Sangria recipe so that you can enjoy it also at home. I have shared the measurements as “parts” so that you can prepare it at any size.
Ingredients
- 10 parts red wine
- 3 parts Orange Juice
- 1.5 parts Brandy
- 1.5 parts Cointreau
- 1-1.5 parts simple syrup (I used citrus mix syrup)
- Orange/lemon/apple slices (you may add other fruits, too)
- 1 pcs Cinnamon stick (optional)
Instructions
- Mix all the ingredients in a pitcher. Keep in the fridge for a couple of hours of overnight. Serve in your wine glass with ice. You may add a splice of soda if you prefer bubbles. Cheers! 🥃🍷
