Isabella grapes must from the Eastern Black Sea region, blackberries and mints

Isabella

Isabella (Vitis labrusca) is an aromatic grape type from the Eastern Black Sea Region of Turkey. It is also grown in many different places in the world. It is also known as fragrant grape or strawberry grape (uva fragola). I also received a sample of Isabella grape must from Trabzon, and I just had the opportunity to try it. Fresh grapes can be found in September-October, but many by-products are available in the market to try.

Ingredients

  • 45 ml London Dry Gin
  • 15 ml Cointreau
  • 30 ml Isabella Grapes Must
  • 30 ml Lemon Juice
  • 4 Blackberries
  • 4-5 Mint Leaves
  • 4 drops Foamer

Instructions

  • Muddle blackberries in your shaker. Spank the mint leaves in your palm and drop them in. Add the rest of the ingredients and shake well with ice. Double strain into an ice-filled glass and garnish with blackberries and a sprig of mint.
    Cheers! 🥂
