Happy International Gin & Tonic Day! Founded not so long ago, it started as a celebration among friends and family as a commemoration event for Mary Edith Keyburn, a gin-tonic enthusiast, after she passed away at the age of 95, on October 19, 2010. It then evolved into a day which is celebrated all over the world after it spreads through social media. As one of the easiest and most practical cocktails to make; you can create very different flavor combinations with your gin, tonic and garnish selections. It is definitely one of my favorite drinks when I am not in the mood for another cocktail. Although I sometimes use balloon cups, I often prefer to drink in a tall glass due to its practicality.
