I recently started reading the book “The Dead Rabbit, Mixology and Mayhem” and checking for the recipes to reshake. I guess I was so lucky that the Kerb Crawler is only the fourth recipe in the book and I have all the ingredients at home. Being able to make a Dead Rabbit (@deadrabbitnyc) cocktail at home is a treat, at least being able to try to make one. Created by Madeleine Solo Rapp and as described perfectly in the book, here is a bright, fruity and refreshing tequila drink.
Ingredients
45mlTequila Blanco
7.5mlCrème de Pamplemousse Rose Liqueur
7.5mlApricot Brandy
22.5mlLemon juice
15mlVanilla syrup
1dashBitter Truth Creole Bitters
1muddled ripe strawberry
Instructions
Muddle the strawberry in your shaker and add the rest of the ingredients. Shake well with ice and double strain into a coupe glass over a large clear ice cube. Garnish with grated nutmeg. Cheers! 🍸
