I generally share cocktails which are prepared using a shaker or mixing glass. However, as most of you know, there is another simple technique which does not require bar tools; built in glass. Add your ingredients into a glass of your choice which is filled with ice, stir gently and start to drink. Many classics, such as Old-Fashioned and Mint Julep are generally prepared that way. I also would like to note a simple issue that we do not shake any sparkling ingredient. If you prefer a more homogeneous cocktail, then you may prefer your mix (except sparkling ones) in your shaker and top your mix with sparkling ingredients, but building in a glass is easy to make especially when you need to be quick and you don’t have bar tools around.
