Passion Pineapple Caipirinha
Let’s make a pineapple passion fruit Caipirinha. Names should not be confused in this cocktail since according to the base drink the name changes. Caipirinha is simply made with cachaca, lime and sugar. Change the base drink to rum and it is caipirissima, and to vodka and it is called caipiroska. In this cocktail I used cachaca, added some pineapple liqueur and fresh passion fruit to base ingredients. You can also differentiate your cocktail by adding different liqueurs and fruits. But I would say, pay attention to the correct naming of the cocktail according to the base drink you use.
Ingredients
- 45 ml Cachaca
- 15 ml Giffard Caribbean Pineapple Liqueur
- 1 Lime (cut in wedges)
- 10 ml Agave Syrup
- 1 Passionfruit
Instructions
- In a glass, muddle the lime wedges. Add the agave syrup and then the passion pulp. Fill the glass with ice, add the cachaca and liqueur, and stir. Garnish with half a passion fruit and a lime wedge.Cheers! 🍹
