Pythagoras
Metaxa is a Greek spirit which is made from the combination of Samos Muscat wines, aged wine distillates and Mediterranean botanicals. Although it is commonly considered to be a brandy, Metaxa is technically not classified as brandy due to the presence of the Muscat wines and the Mediterranean botanicals. Metaxa 7 Stars has an amber colour since it is aged in oak barrels for at least 7 years and has fruity notes with plums and peaches as the forward notes. That’s why I would like to make a fruity cocktail supporting the peach notes with creme de peche and tropical fruits, while trying to boost the toffee notes with vanilla rooibos syrup.
