Emerald Dream
This recipe is from Paula (@thebitterfairy) who is one of my favorite drinkstagrammers. I noted the recipe when I first saw it on her page. I don’t have a navy strength gin so that was the only ingredient that I changed from the original recipe. At first, I was a little bit skeptical about the balance but the first sip proved me totally wrong. I definitely loved it. As Paula described it the best on her post; “its strength greenly veiled through luscious floral and herbal layers of flavor.”
Ingredients
- 52.5 ml Tanqueray gin
- 15 ml Italicus bergamot liqueur
- 15 ml Green Chartreuse
- 22.5 ml Lime juice
- 15 ml Orgeat
- 4-5 basil leaves
Instructions
- Muddle basil leaves with orgeat in your shaker. Add the rest of the ingredients and shake well with ice. Double strain over an ice-filled glass. Garnish with a slice of lime and basil leaves. Cheers! 🌱
