The Gallone

This cocktail is from the book “Field Guide to Hendrick’s” recipe of which belongs to Guiseppe Gallo from Purple Bar at Sanderson, London. I think we can consider it as an interesting variation to Negroni with the addition of amaro instead of Sweet vermouth which makes the cocktail more bitter.

Ingredients
  

  • 50 ml Hendrick’s Gin
  • 25 ml Campari
  • 25 ml Cynar
  • 1 dash Cardamom bitters

Instructions
 

  • Stir all ingredients in a mixing glass or tin. Strain into a chilled coupe glass and garnish with a cucumber slice. 🥒Cheers! 🍸
