Last Promise
Last Word is definitely one of my favorite classics. It is a prohibition-era cocktail originally developed at the Detroit Athletic Club. Becoming popular again at the beginning of 2000’s, it is a cocktail which is perfectly balanced with sweet, sour and herbal characteristics. This cocktail is a simple riff to it with the addition of basil, egg white and a little bit of simple syrup. If you love Last Word, then I believe you will love this one, too. And instead of serving straight up, serve this cocktail in an ice-filled tall glass.
