Mistletoe
The festive season is here and I believe everyone is so excited for Christmas and the new year. When you think of a cocktail for this season, most probably it would be a red one. One of the first things that came to my mind when I was thinking about a new year cocktail is red currants since I believe it reminds me of mistletoes. In this gin based cocktail, I paired hibiscus and orange blossom flavored aperitivo and white chocolate with red currants.
Ingredients
- 45 ml London Dry Gin
- 15 ml Aperitivo Rosato
- 30 ml Lemon juice
- 20 ml White chocolate syrup
- Handful of red currants
- Egg white
Instructions
- Muddle red currants in your shaker. Add the rest of the ingredients and first dry shake. Add ice and shake again. Double strain into your pre-chilled coupe glass. Garnish with a purple basil leaf. Cheers! 🍹🎄
