A simple whiskey cocktail with satsuma and apple pairing

Winter Haze

I think I have mentioned it a couple of times before but I would like to note it again. In Turkey, a ripe version of mandarin (satsuma type) which is specifically grown in Bodrum region is called “satsuma”. It has a rich aroma and taste which makes it so tempting in desserts and of course in cocktails. It pairs very well with apple also.

Ingredients
  

  • 50 ml Irish Whiskey
  • 50 ml Red delicious apple juice
  • 15 ml Lime juice
  • 20 ml Satsuma cordial

Instructions
 

  • Add all ingredients into your shaker and shake with ice until well-chilled. Double strain into an ice-filled glass and garnish with apple fan.⁣
