A Penicillin - whiskey sour fusion with Smokehead

This is to celebrate the first step of an adventure of a thrillseeker friend of mine (@ecp.spirit) with his first import to Turkey; Smokehead Islay Single Malt Whisky. Since I am one of those who had the chance to taste it first, I wanted to introduce it by making a cocktail. Combining my two favorite cocktails; Penicillin and Whisky sour and mellowing the taste a little bit with addition of fresh mandarin juice, here comes the Cranium, a delicious one for those who would dare to enjoy a whisky sour not with a touch of Islay Scotch as in Penicillin but using it as the base.⁣

Ingredients
  

  • 50 ml Smokehead
  • 20 ml Lemon juice
  • 30 ml Mandarin juice
  • 15 ml Honey syrup
  • 1 small cube of Ginger
  • Egg white

Instructions
 

  • Muddle ginger in your shaker and add the rest of the ingredients. First dry shake, add ice and shake again until well chilled. Double strain into your ice-filled glass. Garnish with a dehydrated mandarin wheel.⁣
