Cherry Chocolate
Happy International Whisk(e)y Day! I think and I believe most of you think the same way that there is no need for a special day or specific reason to sip this wonderful spirit, neat, on the rocks or in a cocktail. However, today, I would like to share the recipe of one of my favorite whiskey sour twists with you, to celebrate this day. I love the great harmony of sour cherries, pink peppercorn and chocolate in this drink. I hope you will enjoy, too.
Ingredients
- 60 ml Bourbon
- 30 ml Lemon juice
- 30 ml Sour cherry puree
- 20 ml Pink peppercorn syrup
- 2 dashes Chocolate bitters
- Egg White
Instructions
- Add all ingredients into a shaker and first dry shake. Add ice and shake again. Double strain into ice-filled glass. Garnish with brandied Maraschino cherries. Sláinte! 🥃
