Autumn Breeze
This cocktail is an autumn inspired old fashioned twist. You know, you can use bourbon or rye whiskey while making an old fashioned. I preferred rye whiskey in this variation because of its spicy notes. Using Peychaud’s bitters is like a salute to Sazerac cocktail which is considered to be the close cousin of old fashioned. Addition of tangerine liqueur and maple spice syrup makes it a delightful autumn cocktail.
Ingredients
- 50 ml Rye Whiskey
- 20 ml Mandarin Liqueur
- 5 ml Spiced Maple Syrup
- 2 dashes Peychaud's Bitters
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a mixing glass and stir until well-chilled. Strain over a large ice cube in your glass and garnish with an orange peel.Cheers! 🥃
