Peach a Boo
We can move on to summer cocktail recipes since spring is already here. Since it is not the peach season yet, I used crème de pêche instead of fresh ones in this cocktail. Pairing the peach flavour with pineapple and mint, it became a very refreshing cocktail. I think white rum is the most suitable base liquor for such a mix of flavours. Although I generally don't prefer using crushed ice as it dilutes the mix faster in the glass, it is ok to use in this season. Additionally, I thought a cooler and refreshing texture would be added to this cocktail by using crushed ice.
Ingredients
- 45 ml White Rum
- 15 ml Crème de Pêche
- 45 ml Pineapple Juice
- 30 ml Lime Juice
- 15 ml Agave Syrup
- 5-6 Mint Leaves
Instructions
- Spank the mint leaves in your palm and drop them in your shaker. Add the rest of the ingredients and shake well with ice. Double strain into your ice-filled glass. Garnish with a mint sprig, a pineapple wedge and a maraschino cherry.Cheers! 🍹
