Trick or treat? Happy halloween, drinkstagram! I have a special recipe for today. Red as the color of blood and black as the color of darkness, are the most prominent colors of this special day. So I wanted to use these two colours to create my cocktail and prepared a spicy margarita using wild berries and lychee liqueur. The black rim is a special salt mixture with activated carbon. Coupe glass is a perfect match with the concept. If your favorite Halloween character is a vampire, this cocktail is definitely for you. 🧛🏻♂️💉

Happy Halloween, everyone! I have also mentioned in previous years’ Halloween posts that the animated movie, “The Nightmare Before Christmas” is so important for my perception of this special day. In that context, the color palette of the movie is my inspiration when creating halloween cocktails. This year, I selected the colors; orange and purple. You may all know that pumpkin pairs so well with brown spices so Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Fire is a good choice as the base spirit. So, cheers to the spooky season!

It is that time of the year again. 🎃 Every year, I try to participate in Halloween celebrations at least by creating cocktails and share on #drinkstagram. This year’s mix contains a delicious pumpkin puree and a homemade spice syrup with allspice berries, cloves and cinnamon. And of course, my favorite Halloween character, Jack Skellington is standing there again.

I think the fun part of Halloween is its beautiful contrary nature. It is spooky but fun, dark but glowing, etc. Accordingly, I wanted to create a cocktail with opposite characteristics. Spicy but sweet, black but glowing with the silver dust (zoom in to see better)

Unfortunately, there is no Halloween concept in Turkey except a couple of parties which are started to be organized in the last few years. I think, I was first introduced to the Halloween with the movie “The Nightmare Before Christmas” which is one of my favorite animated movies of all time. So, there is no halloween for me without Jack Skellington. After a few failed trials (visually), I created this cocktail with the pairing of pumpkin and mandarin. I used activated carbon and sugar for the rim.
